Food Organization, Bangladesh (FOB) is a non-government, non-political and non-profitable social organization which was founded on 16th December 2010 at the institute of fine arts of the University of Dhaka by few food technologists and engineers on the victory day of Bangladesh in order to improve the food awareness among consumers as well as establish the rights of food technologists, engineers, and nutritionists.

On that day, the name of the organization and the first convenor as well as member secretary of the organization were decided. According to the decision of all founder members, M Kamal Hossain was the first convenor and Abdul Matin was the first member of the secretary of Food Organization.

After an endless hard work of all members of the organization, we enlisted our name at the Department of Social Services, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh with the registration number of DHA-09118 dated 27 April 2014.
